Christmas Concert at the Multi-Purpose
The Saipan Pacific Winds Concert Band with the Marianas High School Glee Cub Rhythm ‘N Harmony will be presenting its Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 18, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Cultural Center in Susupe. Doors open at 4pm and the concert begins at 4:30pm. Tickets are $5.
Air force training at Warning Area 517
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. Air Force will conduct training at Warning Area 517 on Dec. 20-22, from 8:30am to 10pm. The general public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators are advised to stay clear of the areas during the date and times indicated. W-517 is activated south of latitude 12° 40’ 00″N. All vessels are advised to remain clear of W-517 south of latitude 12° 40’ 00″N. Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Bank are open for public use. (PR)

Water outages in Oleai, CK
Residents of Oleai and Chalan Kanoa will experience daily water service interruption until Dec. 23. The interruptions will be from 3am to 5am, as part of an ongoing leak detection program. For more information, contact the Commonwealth Utilities Cop. Customer Call Center at 664-4282. (PR)

Join the annual Christmas Bird Count
On Dec. 19, birders are invited to participate in Saipan’s Annual Christmas Bird Count. Volunteers will meet at 6am at the American Memorial Park.
