Karidat closed from April 29 to May 1
This is to inform the general public that Karidat will be closed on April 29 through May 1, 2015 as we relocate to our new office in Chalan Piao. The phone lines will also be relocated. Registration at Kagman High
Kagman High School registration is ongoing for school year 2015-2016. All KHS students—new and returning—must submit a registration form to the school registrar for record updates. Registration and requirements for ongoing KHS students will be given out during Homeroom on May 9, 2015.
Ongoing students must clear obligations at the library in order to be issued a free Yearbook and receive official transcripts.
New students can pick up a registration form from the main office. Parents and guardians must complete and sign the forms and submit all required documents to the registrar office no later than June 9, 2015, from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Kindergarten registration at SVES
San Vicente Elementary School registration for school year 2015-2016 is scheduled to begin on May 26-29, 2015 for (Kindergarten ONLY) from 9am to 1pm in the school main office.
For all incoming Kindergarten students:
Child must be 5 years on or before Sept. 30, 2010 as per BOE policy. Date of birth must be between Sept. 1, 2009 and Sept. 30, 2010.
Registration requirements include a copy of birth certificate; original health certificate (from public health or any private clinic); updated medical insurance (Medicaid, any government insurance or accidental insurance; map of residential location; copy of power of attorney/legal guardianship (if applicable); copy of report card or certificate of completion (from any pre-school)

GES registration schedule, requirements
Garapan Elementary School announces its registration information for the coming new school year, 2015-2016.
Requirements for new students include birth certificate; school entrance health certificate from CHC or a private clinic (If you have an appointment slip, provide the school with a copy showing the appointment date); copy of updated health insurance (Medicaid or private insurance); map to residence.
Child must be 5 years old to enter Kindergarten by Sept. 30, 2015. Dates of birth must be on or before Sept. 30, 2010.
Child must be 6 years old to enter first grade by Sept. 30, 2015. Dates of birth must be before Sept. 30, 2009.
Kindergarten registration will begin on May 4, 2015, from 8:30am to 4:00pm in the GES Library.
New students’ registration for grades 1 to 6 will begin on June 24, 2015.

CCA reschedules board meeting
The Commonwealth Cancer Association regular board of directors meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 3pm at the CCA conference room in Gualo Rai. Agenda includes reports from the president and program updates. All board meetings are open to the public. VA Benefits workshop on Thursday
The U.S. Department of Veterans Benefits Administration will be conducting a Veterans Benefits workshop on April 29, 2015, from 10am to 4pm, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center on Saipan. A benefits counselor will provide a VA benefits presentation and will also be available to answer questions and take claims. The Tinian Department of Public Safety would like to inform the general public that the Traffic Section will be conducting DUI/sobriety checkpoints on the dates and time listed below:
Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm—eastbound lane by the baseball field.
Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm—eastbound lane by the baseball field.
Friday, May 15, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm—southbound lane on Broadway by the Natibu Park.
Monday, May 25, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm—east bound lane by the baseball field; 4pm to 5:15pm—southbound lane by the Youth Center (DPS)

The Northern Mariana Islands Festival of Pacific Arts Organizing Committee is soliciting response from CNMI artisans interested in participating in the 2016 Festival of Pacific Arts in Guam.
