Road closed across Mobil Kagman on May 1
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the general public that there will be a temporary road closure on Saturday, May 1, 2021, from 8:30am to 12:30pm for the eastbound lane across the Mobil Kagman gas station. CUC’s operators will be replacing a rotted wooden primary pole to a concrete pole located across the Mobil Kagman gas station. The roadway will re-open for use soon after the installation.

For the safety of the men and women working at the site, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and/or take alternative routes when traveling through the area.

5.0-magnitude earthquake shudders Saipan
At 1:40pm yesterday, a report of a 5.0-magnitude earthquake occurred 77 KM South-Southwest of San Jose Village, Northern Mariana Islands. Currently, there are no warnings or advisories issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
