4.6-magnitude quake hits Rota
At 9:24a, on April 19 2020, a report of a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred 95 kilometers west- northwest of Rota in the Northern Mariana Islands. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue any tsunami warnings or advisories. For more information, contact the CNMI EOC State Warning Point at 237-8000. (PR)

At 10:03am on April 18 2020, a report of a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred 28 kilometers east- southeast of Agrihan in the Northern Mariana Islands. Tinian ID card service on Wed., Thurs.
The Tinian Mayor’s Office will be offering its municipal identification card services to the public every Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm until such time that the government resumes its normal operating hours. We highly encourage the use of face masks, and the practice of social distancing while availing of this service. MLSC available by phone
The Marianas office of the Micronesia Legal Services Corp. office continues to be closed to public contact but its staff are available by telephone at 234-7729 or 234-6243. We are a private-non-profit organization serving low-income people in the CNMI; we do not charge fees for our legal services. (PR)

Transfer station, landfill hours
The Department of Public Works has announced revised operation hours at the Lower Base Transfer Station and Marpi Landfill. The Lower Base Transfer Station will be open all week from 7:30am to 1pm, except Wednesday. For more information, call (670) 322-2745 (Lower Base office).
