4.9-magnitude quake in Pagan region

At 5:12pm on April 7 2023, a report of a 4.9-magnitude earthquake occurred at 18.714°N 145.768°E in the Pagan region of the Northern Mariana Islands. Currently, there are no tsunami warnings or advisories that were issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. For more information, please contact the CNMI EOC State Warning Point at (670) 237-8000. Youth Congress organizational session on April 15

The first day, organizational session of the 19th CNMI Youth Congress is scheduled for  Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10am in the House of Representatives’ chamber. (PR)

GCC spring College Assembly today

Guam Community College will be holding its spring 2023 College Assembly to provide professional development training for all faculty, staff and administrators today, April 10, 2023, from 8am to 4pm. The campus will be closed during this time. Postsecondary classes will resume as scheduled beginning at 4pm.

GCC board meeting on Friday

The Guam Community College board of trustees will hold its monthly board meeting on Friday, April 14, 2023, at noon at Guam Community College in Room 112, Learning Resource Center (GCC Library), Building 4000. All attendees are encouraged to wear a mask on the GCC campus.
