Share

ASAN, Guam—The public is encouraged to submit comments on the Department of Defense public access plan through Aug. 14.

Comments are being sought to assist with the development of the plan, which will facilitate public visits to historic sites of interest on DOD properties as well as allow citizens to safely collect culturally important natural resources.

Copies of the document are available at the Mayors Council of Guam, Guam State Historic Preservation Office, University of Guam Robert F. Kennedy Library, Richard F. Taitano Micronesian Area Research Center and the Nieves M. Flores Public Library.

Online copies are available at the Cultural Resource Information website go.usa.gov/kZWG (case sensitive) and JRM website www.cnic.navy.mil/regions/jrm.html.

The public comment period is in coordination between the Guam State Historic Preservation Office and Joint Region Marianas. (PR)
