Coca-Cola, Foremost Foods gives in-kind donation

The Hyatt Regency Saipan 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic received a generous donation from platinum sponsor Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia) and Foremost Foods Saipan with over $2,000 in beverages and supplies for the tournament to be held this Saturday, April 22.

Foremost Foods Saipan will serve cold coffee beverages for the early birds Saturday morning during registration prior to tee off. Coca-Cola Beverage will host a beverage station for players on the course located in hole No.8 serving refreshments to golfers.

Understanding and sharing in the mission of Hyatt, Coca-Cola Beverage and Foremost Foods, on an annual basis, support the Hyatt Regency Saipan 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic.

Hyatt Regency general manager Nick Nishikawa states, “I would like to personally thank Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia) and Foremost Foods Saipan, for their continuous support with the Charity Golf Classic. We have had a great business relationship for many years now and most especially a great relationship in working together to support our island community. On behalf of the six beneficiaries this year, thank you.”

All proceeds donated to the Hyatt Regency Saipan 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic will go to the event’s six beneficiaries to include: Make-A-Wish Foundation, aiding them in their mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening diseases; Kagman High School Million Dollar Scholars Club, supporting CNMI high school students in preparation and travel to higher education; Marianas Behavioral Health International a rehabilitation center dedicated to provide support for those who want to make a positive change in their lives; Karidat Social Services, a local organization supporting the needs of the community; Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation who assists impoverished women and children of the CNMI; and the Northern Marianas Humanities Council with a goal to focus on supporting the education of indigenous cultures of the CNMI.

Grown in popularity over the years from being a fun golf tournament for Club At The Hyatt® Members to an island-wide charitable event; this year the Hyatt Regency Saipan Charity Golf Classic turns 21—a special year that most either remember or don’t for the same reasons.

Golfers are encouraged to invite a guest or two to the dinner banquet poolside, $35 per person inclusive of free-flowing beverages and a dinner buffet featuring Certified Angus Beef cuts. Raffle tickets in the amounts of $1, $5, and $10 will be sold for an array of prizes from designer handbags to high-end golf gear to round-trip tickets to the Philippines, Japan, Korea, and Europe that will be paired with hotel nights in other Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and Hyatt affiliate hotels. Prize packages as such will not be offered at any other tournament for the rest of 2017.
