CNMI Labor secretary to speak at SHRM meeting

The Society for Human Resource Management NMI Chapter will have Edith DeLeon Guerrero, CNMI Secretary of Labor, presenting at its March general membership meeting.

DeLeon Guerrero will provide an introduction to the CNMI labor regulation and its compliance requirements for CNMI employers, This program will be of special interest to all HR professionals and managers, refreshing your knowledge on the CNMI Labor regulations, the JVA system and other employment issues.

This lunch meeting will be held at the Pacific Islands Club Charley’s Cabaret on Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

This presentation is open to the public and will be an invaluable opportunity for employers and HR professionals and staff to better understand the CNMI Department of Labor JVA system and other employment requirements. DeLeon Guerrero will provide an opportunity for questions.

The presentation includes the delicious PIC lunch buffet at the cost of $20 for SHRM members and $30 for non-members.
