The CNMI gets the facts on D.A.T.!
In observance of National Drug Facts Week, Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, 2014, the Community Guidance Center- Substance Abuse Prevention Unit, Project Brabu, conducted several activities in an effort to increase awareness and knowledge about D.A.T.! Drugs, Alcohol, and Tobacco.
Drug Facts Week activities included “Drug Facts Trivia” on Power 99 radio station; random drug facts shown daily on KSPN 2 News; and a “Drug Facts Chat” where youth were able to ask health professionals questions online concerning alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Although the chat session is finished, the public can still ask questions online at ask.fm/ProjectBrabu. All questions are anonymous.
Project Brabu thanks all those who participated in the Drug Facts Week activities and sends a big thank you to its partners and supporters in our efforts to help keep the CNMI a safe, healthy, and drug-free community!
Congratulations to “Drug Facts Trivia” winners: Teresa Saures, Rudy Sablan, Lovely Diestro, Carlo Santos, Deverly Madrachelvib, Peter Aldan, Jordan Basa, Margarita Aldan, Linda Alvarez, and Lence Kubarh.
