Club 88 launches mural contest for 2nd club
In conjunction with the opening of its second e-gaming club at Mariana Resort and Spa in November, Club 88 will sponsor a competition to paint a mural on the exterior wall of the veranda overlooking Mandi Asian Spa and the Pacific Ocean. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of $1,500 to paint their design and showcase their talents. This competition is open to all local resident artists.
“We are delighted to be able to provide an opportunity for a local artist to complete a unique, island-themed art work and have that available for the public to enjoy,” said Victoria Scott, owner of Club 88.
The “canvas” for the mural is an outdoor wall measuring approximately 25 feet in length by 20 feet in height and will be painted by the selected artist. Paint and materials will be provided by Club 88. Subject material for the mural should be in keeping with the island/ocean theme; for example, ocean, reef, dolphins, sunset, etc.
Interested artists must submit their full-color design by the closing deadline of Oct. 30, 2015. The winning design will be announced Nov. 3. Designs should be submitted to Michael Holl, (670) 233-0888; Club88MHoll@gmail.com. (Club 88)
