Join the “litter-free CNMI” campaign of the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality’s Cleanup Brigade and volunteer to help pick up trash on Feb, 1, Saturday, from 8am to 10am, at the Marine Beach in Kagman.

“Everyone is welcome to join us ‘pick it up’ at Marine Beach. Let us work together for the health of our coral reefs and the cleanliness of our beaches for everyone to enjoy,” BECQ’s Zabrina Shai said.

Water, gloves, trash bags, and pickers will be provided to volunteers, while supplies last.

Last month, the brigade, with community volunteers, collected a total of 360 lbs of trash in Garapan.

To sign up as a volunteer, or for more information about volunteering, contact the BECQ office at 664-8500/1. (Iva Maurin)
