On the article Ackerman, 3 others clinch NMSA monthly honors that was published last Monday, April 6, Northern Marianas National Paddle Sports Federation official Gil Birnbrich was quoted that Jack Kabiriel and Dino Manning used “inferior equipment” when they joined the 2015 Paddle Sports Classic in Tumon Bay, Guam last month.

Manning said that the equipment loaned to them by the Guam paddling community was not inferior and that “they were very generous in letting us use their equipment for the races.

Manning said that he and Kabiriel were thankful for the support shown to them by the Guam paddling community.
