CK Smokehouse now open for breakfast

Start the day right by heading down to CK Smoke House & Salad in  Chalan Kanoa where they’ve started serving breakfast. 

P&A Corp. general manager Doyi Kim said the breakfast menu at the restaurant came after a year of planning.

She said CK Smoke House & Salad’s goal was always to be a full-service restaurant that can offer meals during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
One of the bestsellers has been their ham and cheese omelet which is complemented by freshly brewed coffee and one of the best french toast on island.

The $9.95-$11.95 breakfast also includes western omelet, spam and egg, eggplant omelet, marinated bangus, bacon and egg, and chamorro sausage. 
Kim said the obvious continental, Filipino, and local flavor of their breakfast offering was no coincidence as they recently hired a cook whose specialty is cooking breakfast such as french toast and omelet.

As far as the reception is concerned, she said  CK Smoke House & Salad has attracted its fair share of customers from the southern part of the island. 

These include office workers who don’t have time to make breakfast and want an easy pick-me-up before heading to work and customers who just want to enjoy the laid-back and mesmerizing tranquil atmosphere at CK Smoke House & Salad while sampling a complete breakfast.

Asked what makes CK Smoke House & Salad’s breakfast menu different from other breakfast offerings on Saipan, Kim said the restaurant proudly uses only the freshest local produce, especially their meats that come directly from their own slaughterhouse, Marianas Meat Harvesting Co, one of the companies operated by Kim.

Soon, Kim said they will also be introducing more pastries and bread for breakfast for those pining for a more continental feel in the morning.

CK Smoke House & Salad is also now open for private parties with tray packages starting at $350. That package allows you to use their 35-seat private room with a karaoke machine for free. 

And CK Smoke House & Salad recently opened a second location on the tourist hotspot at Managaha Island. Like its big brother on Saipan, the newest outlet is slowly making its name among tourists visiting the island for its flavorful barbecue items.

Kim said the Managaha outlet has helped attract more customers to the original, as tourists who sampled the food there usually come to the Chalan Kanoa branch to taste more of their menu. 

CK Smoke House & Salad is located at the side of the U.S. Post Office in Chalan Kanoa and can easily seat up to 70 customers. Their breakfast menu can be enjoyed everyday from 6:30am to 10am, lunch from 11am to 2pm, and dinner from 5pm to 9pm.
