The Department of Community and Cultural Affairs’ Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture will be running its Annual Christmas Exhibit during the whole month of November and artists are being encouraged to participate.

The Christmas Exhibit will be held at the Chamolinian Utt, Garapan, from Nov. 3 to Nov. 28 and will be open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
“We are having this exhibit a month earlier to give convenient time for the public and visitors to mail out their Christmas gifts to family and friends off-island,” visual/traditional artists coordinator Feofaaki McMahon said.

McMahon said the council is inviting registered and non-registered artists to participate in the exhibit.

“I would like to encourage all registered and non-registered artists to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase and sell your artworks. Also, we would like to invite the artists to come and participate by demonstrating how to make their artworks to the visitors,” she said.

For more information on becoming a registered artist, contact McMahon at CCAC on Capital Hill next to the U.S Post Office or call her at 322-9983 or 483-1226.
