Chow Time Parakeyu, 3 others crowned champs

The Saipan Electronic Darts Association crowned its last batch of division winners in the Bud Light Cup tournament as championship matches wrapped up last week in separate venues.
The Chow Time Lupeyt Boyz ruled the Tuesday B division to lead the final set of winners in the season-ending tournament. The 6JMS Scorpions topped the Chichirika C group, while the Parakeyu earned the Kingfisher C crown, and the 6JMS Bandits got the Thursday Fanihi B title.
The Lupeyt Boyz scored an 8-3 win over the 6JMS Chamberos in the finals. Up 5-3, the Lupeyt Boyz wrapped up the match by winning the last three singles games. Gams Gille, Bobby Deleon, and Larry Achas dispatched Allan Delica, Joker Camacho, and George Medina, respectively, to seal the Lupeyt Boyz’s victory.
The Lupeyt Boyz also defeated the 6JMS Xecutionerz and the Chow Time L.O.L. on their way to the division title, while the Chamberos beat the VFW Warriors to earn a finals spot.
The Scorpions, meanwhile completed an 8-5 decision over the Tasha’s Flukers in the Chichirika C division. The Scorpions’ other wins were against the VFW Bull-It, 8-5, while the Flukers had to get past the 9 Eleven Destroyer Knights, 8-6, and the Safehouse Bulls Hitters, 8-7, to move into the finals. The Destroyer Knights beat the Nipa Hut Shot, 8-3, to earn the right of facing the Flukers in the semifinals.
In the Kingfisher C class, the Parakeyu escaped with an 8-6 victory against the 6JMS B-SEA Sunsports.
Parakeyu also edged the Naked Fish Re-Darts, 8-7, and the 6JMS Hit’em Up, 8-3, to enter the title match, while the Sunsports had only one match and they squeezed out an 8-7 win over the 6JMS Dart Vaders.
The 6JMS Bandits were the last to be crowned Bud Light champions, winning the Thursday Fanihi B division against the 6JMS Proofers, 8-5. The Proofers scored wins over the 9 Elevent Strikers II, 8-3, and the 6JMS Shaka, 8-3, to enter the title match against the Bandits, an 8-5 conqueror of the Franken Brau Dart Crafters.
