Chinese association releases Lion Dance sked
The Chinese Association of Saipan wishes you good health, prosperity, and success as you stride forth into the New Year.
The year 2016 is the Year of the Monkey and 2016 Chinese New Year falls on Feb, 8, Monday. As you know, the monkey is optimistic, ambitious, and adventurous. Wish we can welcome and challenge the coming year as the monkey.
Each year at this time the association brings the Chinese community together in celebration of the Spring Festival including the Lion Dance and Chinese New Year Party. To celebrate in style, the Chinese association offers a Lion Dance performance on Feb 8. The Lion Dance is a traditional New Year dance that drives out evil spirits while providing good fortune for the New Year. Wish the CNMI a prosperous and wonderful New Year.
