Child car seat checkpoints on Saipan

The Department of Public Safety would like to inform the general public that the Traffic Section will be conducting child car seat checkpoints on Saipan on Monday and Wednesday next week.

Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to check car seats for proper installation and advise parents caregivers how to choose the right car seats and install them properly in their vehicles.

On Monday, May 18, 2015, the checkpoint will be from 7am to 8:15am along Chalan Pale Arnold, Puerto Rico by the U.S. Army Reserve Center on the southbound lane.

This will be followed at 9:30am to 10:45am on Beach Road, Garapan, across the Bank of Pacific on the southbound lane.

On Wednesday, May 20, 2015, the checkpoint will be from 4pm to 5:15pm along Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, Chalan Kiya by CUC Waterloo on the westbound lane.

This will be followed at 6:30pm to 7:45pm along Beach Road, Susupe, in front of the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Building on the northbound lane. (DPS)
