CHCVA sets meeting on Feb. 15

The Commonwealth Health Center Volunteers Association is pleased to announce and invite members of the general public from all walks of life to attend the next community meeting scheduled for Monday, Feb. 15, 10am at the CHC CE Conference Room (next to the Cafeteria).

The two main agenda are to welcome new volunteers and members to the board of directors and to plan for CHCVA’s 30th anniversary fundraising and spectacular celebration.

CHCVA was duly chartered as a non-profit association 29 years ago and has raised over $2 million all from the generosity of individual members of our community, the business sector, and local and off-island groups. The grassroots community raised funds have been contributed to our lone public hospital—CHC—by way of purchasing an array of patient care equipment and supplies. About 5 percent had been donated to individuals and/or community organizations to improve and/or assist in health care services on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.
