CHCC to launch pop-up vaccine tent
The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. will be launching a Pop-Up Vaccination Site for the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine for the elderly population this Saturday at the System of Care in San Antonio from 8am to 12pm.
According to CHCC’s Facebook page, the Janssen vaccine, which only requires one dose, will be administered at the System of Care near the San Antonio basketball court for those who are 60 years and older. There are only 150 slots available, so CHCC encourages those who are interested to pre-register.
CHCC said those who are interested in taking the one-dose vaccine can register by visiting the CHCC call center at IT&E Chalan Lau Lau from 8am to 5pm or by calling 682-7468 from 7:30am to 8pm. CHCC says online registration for the pop-up tent at the San Antonio location is not available.
Additionally, the Northern Marianas College encourages its students to get vaccinated while supplies are available. Through its Facebook page, NMC said they “strongly urge” students to get vaccinated not only for their safety but that of their family and the community.
CHCC reminds the community that the free COVID-19 testing will be available today at the Kanoa Resort in Susupe from 1pm to 4pm.
On top of having a new site that will cater to the elderly in the south, CHCC, along with the COVID-19 Task Force and TurnKey Solutions has officially launched its CNMI COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard that reports live and on-demand vaccination data.
This means that the CNMI population will be able to see how many vaccines have been administered in real time. This can be seen at vaccinatecnmi.com/vax-dashboard.
