CHCC medical outreach in shelters served 241

The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.’s medical outreach in shelters Wednesday morning and the whole of Tuesday saw at least 240 patients.

Samantha Birmingham-Babauta noted that at least 241 shelterees were given medical attention in several shelters throughout Saipan, including the Oleai Head Start, Tanapag Middle School, Kagman Community Center, the Saipan Aging Center, Saipan Southern High School, Dandan Headstart Center, and the San Vicente Elementary School last Tuesday and Wednesday.

A team consisting of one medical doctor or epidemiologist, one nurse, one immunization staff, one clerk, one pharmacy technician, and one crisis counselor visited each shelter.

Afternoon visits last Wednesday were for the Kagman Elementary School, the Tanapag Middle School, and the Kagman Community Center.

The teams were to be dispatched yesterday to the Saipan Aging Center, Kagman High School, Saipan Southern High School, and Marianas High School.
