Changes to gov’t vendor services
The Department of Finance is informing all vendors to utilize an upgraded version of Munis and to avail of new services that will enhance user experiences. Vendors can now safely and securely login to their vendor portal using their Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook accounts by going to https://finance.gov.mp/munis-updates/vss.html
Vendors wishing to do business with the CNMI government are required to register in the Vendor Self Service Portal prior to bidding on a solicitation. All businesses that receive payment from the CNMI government must be registered as a vendor through the Vendor Self Service Portal. Additionally, by registering as a vendor you can automatically receive bid notices, have access to billing information and payment history.
“We look forward to continuing our collaborative relationship with Tyler Technologies as we will further upgrade our ERP system,” said Finance Secretary David DLG Atalig. “We’ve been able to reduce paper consumption and streamline and modernize the management of our financial systems. We look forward to enhancing our productivity from this new system for many years.”
All previously registered vendors will be emailed with instructions and their vendor ID number. For questions about or assistance with Vendor Self Service send an email with contact information to: vendorhelp@dof.gov.mp or call 670) 287-1424/(670) 287-1482.
In 2021 the CNMI Department of Finance, in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology Services, implemented a Vendor Self Service program through the Munis platform. The implementation is part of the ongoing digital transformation process, an initiative by the Department of Finance that is aimed at increasing efficiencies and convenience of CNMI government services.
With the program, vendors have had the capability to:
■ Create an account to be entered into the vendor database
■ Log in to keep all information current
■ Track invoices and payments online at any time
■ Browse purchase orders, invoices and 1099 data
■ Submit bids on goods and services (PR)
