Chamber seeks BPOY nominees

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominees for its “Business Person of the Year” award for 2018.

Chamber members gets to nominate the business person they deem fit to receive the award. As per tradition, the winner will be announced on Jan.19, 2019, during the Installation Dinner, when new Chamber officers will be installed.

The nominees must be a member of the Chamber and must reside on Saipan. Qualifying criteria includes active personal participation in the Chamber’s committees, events, programs, and meetings; active community involvement and contributions; and being widely recognized for his/her area of expertise.

Possible nominees are Chamber members who support the local workforce, active in Chamber events and programs, and exhibit outstanding efforts for both their businesses and the CNMI community.

The nominations are kept confidential and are voted on by the past recipients of this award in a closed meeting.

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Saipan Chamber of Commerce website and completed nomination forms should be sent to email executive@saipanchamber.com not later than Jan. 7, 2018.
