Chamber meeting on Wednesday

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s general membership meeting in September will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan.

It will feature two guest speakers: Maisie Tenorio, executive director of the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence; and Labor Secretary Vicky Benavente.

Tenorio will be sharing the coalition’s plans during the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, while Benavente will be speaking about the CNMI’s current labor issues and her office’s current plans and projects.

Chamber members are invited to make short announcements at the end of the meeting.

Lunch will be served at 11:30am and the meeting will begin promptly at noon. The fee is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members.
