Celis walk-off single lifts Kagboys
J.P. Celis connected on a two-RBI walk-off single to drive in the winning run in the Kagboys’ 8-7 victory over the Little Legals in the Majors division of the Saipan Little League last Sunday at the Miguel Basa “Tan Ge” Pangelinan ball field.

Celis, with one out and their team trailing 7-6, drove in Ray Ray Babauta and Justin Agulto to seal the Kagboys’ win.
The Kagboys were down 7-5, when Andrew Sablan, leading off in the bottom of the seventh, struck out while Ray Ray Babauta singled for the tying run.
Agulto also singled and stole second base. Celis then found a gap near right center field for the game-winning run.
Falcons 25, Twins 0
Kyle Kapileo tossed a complete game no-hitter in the Falcons’ shutout win over fellow northern squad the As Matuis Twins. He struck out nine and walked four batters he faced.
Aven Evangelista, Zach Reyes, and Keoni Serrano each homered for the Falcons, who scored 18 runs in the third to quickly end the game.
Evangelista was a triple short of hitting the cycle with a 3-for-4 batting with three runs, a double and single, and three RBIs while Reyes went 4-for-4 with three runs, a double, and five RBIs. Serrano had a two-run shot in the first inning.
Red Sox 20, IT&E Comets 4
Devon Pangelinan went perfect at the plate while Kiana Aldan drove in three runs for the Red Sox.
Pangelinan went 3-for-3 with two runs and two doubles while Aldan, who struck out in the first, scored twice and had a double. Shane Mallens had a double and a triple with two runs and an RBI in a 2-for-4 batting.
Pangelinan pitched 2.1 innings surrendering four earned runs on four hits with strikeout and three walks.
Aldan came in the top of the third with Terrance Chargar up to bat and retired the Comets center fielder and Forest Pangelinan.

Enforcers 8, Braves 0
Over at the Francisco M. “Tan Ko” Palacios Baseball Field, Virgil Secharmidal tossed a four-hit shutout win where he fanned nine and walked one. He then went 3-for-4, all singles, while scoring twice in the game.
Franklin Lizama crossed home plate two times in a perfect 3-for-3 appearance, while Ethan Babauta had a double going 2-for-3. J.J. Chong went 2-for-4 with one run and two RBIs.
