CEC will hold voter registration in Oregon, Guam

The Commonwealth Election Commission will conduct a voter registration drive in Oregon and in Guam.

CEC executive director Julita Villagomez said she and two election clerks will hold a voter registration drive in Salem, Oregon on July 14.

The registration drive will be done at the 6th Annual Marianas Picnic for CNMI residents from 2pm to 8pm at the Elks Lodge #336 Salem, Oregon.

Villagomez said CEC will also have similar registration drive at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in the lobby area for CNMI residents on Aug. 21 to 23 from 9am to 3pm at 240 Ypao Beach Road in Tamuning, Guam.

“Please be sure to bring a copy of your photo ID,” Villagomez said.

The last day for voter registration for the Nov. 6 general election is Sept. 7, 2018.

Meanwhile, Luis S. Tilipao was the only one who filed his candidacy at CEC office in Susupe last Tuesday. He was accompanied by family members.

Tilipao, an independent candidate, is running for a House of Representatives seat under precinct 3.

Precinct 3 A covers the Oleai area, while Precinct 3B covers Garapan area.
