CCDF Program now accepting applications for new families
The CNMI Department of Community and Cultural Affairs announced Tuesday that interested families may begin submitting applications on Oct. 19, for the Child Care and Development Fund Program to be placed on its wait list.
The CCDF Program requires that applicants meet income guidelines for the household as well as approved activities, which include, working, in a job-related training, or participating in education.
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, the following priorities for this application will be implemented: front-liners such as law enforcement, public safety officers, and emergency medical services assigned to COVID-19 activities with direct contact with individuals and essential worker, such as retail cashiers, gas attendants, sanitation workers, bank tellers, child care teachers, and caregivers.
