Casa Décor wants you to live with what you love

Casa Décor located on Middle Road (beside LJ’s Supermarket) is your go-to-place to find quality products and items that can help you build your dream living space.

“I love interior decorating and this passion help pushed me to open Casa Décor… I have been on island for more than 30 years and from experience, if I want to buy things to help improve my living standards, it was always a challenge,” owner Gavin Lam said.

“My passion and the need for the island for this kind of shop is what pushed me to go into this kind of business,” Lam added.

Casa Décor is barely a month old but its inventory is very well stocked and offers a wide variety of items from China.

“We have all kinds of furniture that includes sofa, dining tables, cabinets, appliances such as rechargeable full-sized electric fans, electrical, and lighting fixtures. We do have construction materials like the tiles that are meant for finishing only and we have full sets of them. We also have bathroom fixtures and toilets for children,” Lam said.

“We have a wide array of paintings and scented candles that can fill your home or office…we have various Christmas decorations currently on our shelves. If you love gardening, we have decorative and clay pots that are reasonable priced from $26 to $39.99 and they come in three sets,” Lam added

According to Lam, his prices are competitive and affordable. “If people are looking for quality products at affordable prices, Casa Décor is here for them… if one likes the an item in the store, he or she does not have to wait for shipment as we keep a stock of items in the warehouse,” he said.

“We offer delivery and we may charge a bit for that depending on the item and location…we accept major credit cards except American Express,” he added.

Lam understands that improving or decorating a home is not easy or inexpensive that is why Casa Décor offers a layaway program.

“It is payment in installment basis with no interest where customers will pay only 30% down payment on the item and the balance payment is every two weeks until full payment is done and then they can take home the merchandise,” he said.

“We partnered with Express Financing where they can do the layaway program with us in behalf of the customer. We can assist them and the program can go as long as three years,” he added.

Casa Décor also has a membership program to loyal customers.

“Whenever a customer buys any item, one point is earned for every dollar spent. If a customer accumulates 500 points they can come to the store and redeem it with something of equal value,” Lam said.

“Customers who spend $2,500 are automatically Gold members and they can avail 5% discount on sale and regular items… If $5,000 then they become Platinum members where they are entitled to 10% for any item whether on sale or not,” Lam added.

Casa Décor is gearing up for Thanksgiving and will run a promo offering 10% discount from Nov. 25 to 30.

“Our goal is to attract more people to come here so they can see what we have. We have more items arriving on the 21st or 22nd and we hope the community will look forward to that,” Lam said.
