“As Chairman of the Committee to Elect Inos and Torres, I am deeply saddened to hear that despite statements made by our opponents just seven days ago, the negative personal attacks have started,” said committee chair Greg Camacho.

“This type of behavior is most unfortunate and I am hopeful that our opponents would stand by their emphatic statement that this campaign should be based on the issues, not on slanderous accusations and personal attacks on individuals.”

“Gov. Inos and Sen. Torres are proud to stand by their record over the last 20 months and are spending the next two weeks talking about the accomplishments they have already achieved.”

“Every day retirees are coming up to thank the governor and Sen. Ralph for saving the Retirement Fund from bankruptcy, thus securing their pensions for the long term as well as restoring their pension to 100 percent.”

“Every day business owners are calling Gov. Inos and Sen. Ralph and thanking them for creating an environment and instituting policies that have allowed them to expand and grow for the long term.”

“Every day residents are shaking the hands of Gov. Inos and Sen. Torres for the [Capital Improvement Projects] that have lit their streets, maintained 24-hour water service, paved the roads they use to get to and from work, and beautified our islands.”

Chairman Camacho summarized: ”All of these accomplishments and many more are responsible for our economy improving and the wellbeing of our community much improved. The projects in particular will survive generations and a government overseen by Gov. Inos and Sen. Ralph will result in a lasting legacy for our people.”

“We humbly ask our opponents to stand by their previously stated commitment on the KSPN election night coverage to run a clean campaign as we have instructed our supporters to do the same.”
