Camacho excels in Novice Class

Henry Camacho Jr. rose to the top of the Novice Class after taking the lead during the fifth leg of the Marianas Racing Association Points Race Series at CowTown Raceway Park last Sunday.
Camacho, who previously held second place in the class’ overall standings, was promoted to No. 1 after placing second in the fifth leg of the series held last Sunday to gain 44 points, bringing his total score up to 207.
Corry Pangelinan, who previously held third place, also rose to second place after taking first in the fifth series race last Sunday to gain 50 points, bringing his total score up to 196.
Kier Agda, who held first place in the last few races, was demoted to third place. The previous head of the class did not race last Sunday, which led to him inevitably losing the lead. He currently holds an overall score of 181.
Thomas Reyes continues to hold fourth place overall. He landed third place during the fifth series race to earn 40 points, bumping him up to a 169.
Meanwhile, in the Expert Class, Cuki Alvarez managed to regain the lead after losing it to Angelito Hernaez in the last two races.
Alvarez landed first place during the fifth leg of the series last Sunday to gain 47 points, bumping up his total score to an impressive 214.
Hernaez, who held the lead since the third leg of the series, lagged behind in the fifth series race, placing sixth overall gaining him 22 points, bumping him up to a 192.
Holding close at third place overall is Alverick Alvarez with a total score of 191. Alverick placed second last Sunday to gain a total of 45 points.
Placing third in the fifth leg of the series for the Expert Class was Franklin Santos to earn 38 points. The win bumped his overall score up to 184 putting him at fourth place in class standings.
In the Big Boy ATV, Christian Camacho still holds the lead despite not showing up to race last Sunday. He remains at no. 1 with a total score of 200.
Henry Camacho Sr. remains in second place overall despite sweeping both heats of the fifth series race to earn him 50 points. He currently has a total score of 114.
Rex Susulin also continued to grip the No. 3 ranking after placing second last Sunday to gain him 44 points. The win bumped him up to a total score of 108.
Completing the Top 3 last Sunday was Mike Dela Cruz who gained a total of 40 points to bump him up to 80 points. He currently is at 4th place in the overall standings.
