Another business has expressed its support for the 16th Club at the Hyatt Golf Classic by donating money to further its mission of helping Make-A-Wish Foundation grant the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions.
Calvo’s Insurance general manager Eli Buenaventura presented the $1,000 check to event committee chair Michael Wilson on Tuesday.
This was the first time for Calvo’s Insurance to donate to the annual golf tournament. “We believe in the mission of this golf event and we hope for its success,” Buenaventura told Saipan Tribune.
The 2011 Club at the Hyatt Golf Classic is slated for Nov. 12 at the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort. Registration is at 6:30am, with shotgun start at 7:30am.
Early bird registration fee for Club Elan and Club at the Hyatt members is only $95 per person, with payment to be made at least 72 hours prior to the event or on Nov. 9.
Regular registration fee for members is $110 per person and non-members fee costs $120 per person.
Wilson, who is also the Food and Beverage director for Hyatt, said that Calvo’s Insurance joins their roster of corporate sponsors and donors.
This year’s hole-in-one prizes include a 2012 Hyundai from Triple J Motors, $25,000 from Bank of Hawaii, and a chance to tour Japan courtesy of Delta Air Lines.
“We also have the fantastic gala banquet that everyone looks forward to,” added Wilson. The banquet will be held at the Hyatt Regency poolside and costs $35 per person.
