Kagman High School takes the responsibility of preparing its students for the real world after graduation seriously. This is one of the reasons why the school hosts a week of senior exit interviews for all KHS seniors to vicariously experience what a job interview by a panel is like. This year we wanted to invite alumni to be a part of this panel.  If you are interested in being a part of these panels, RSVP as soon as possibly by emailing leila.staffler@cnmipss.org.  We have open seats and really want to have you be a part of this process. Your experiences and perspective as alumni are so valuable.

Things have changed since you came to KHS. Students now begin working on a portfolio starting in their freshman year that includes things like: the résumé, best work samples, reflections, community service, short- and long-term goal making, and more. Teachers focus on instilling 21st century skills, like innovation and technology, with the soft skills and work values, like time and attendance, effort and grit, in an effort to prepare these graduates for the real world after high school. We would love you to help us reinforce those values and emphasize the importance of this experience with your support, especially because of your alumni status. You live this every day.

If you graduated from Kagman High, we would love to have you participate with us.

We are also interested in hearing about what alumni are doing now in their lives! If you can’t participate in the exit interviews, send us your info by filling out this survey to give us your latest updates: http://goo.gl/6gTqaN

If you are not an alumni but are interested in participating in this type of activity, email me at leila.staffler@cnmipss.org. We welcome interested community members to be part of the panel to give our current seniors feedback on the interview process. (PR)
