4-hour power outage on Saturday

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has scheduled a power interruption on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, from 7:30am to 11:30am, that will affect the southern side of Gualo Rai.
The purpose of the interruption is to de-energize primary power lines for the safety of the CUC line crew as they replace rotted main primary power poles.
Water services may affect the area during the power interruption; however, all services should be restored after the power is re-energized.
Areas to be affected are the southern side of Gualo Rai (Pas Pl., Kulales Pl, Manachang Pl., Espana St., Deres Pl., Europa Pl., Cheribiyan Dr., Bayogu Ln., American Dr., Community Lp., Walumwo St., Beans Ave., Pumpkin St., and Uup Ln.), Quarter Master Rd. (String Ct. and Tiigh Ct.)
Because of the scale of the work that will be performed, travelers are encouraged to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas. CUC apologizes for any inconvenience this power interruption may have on community and will continue to work diligently to minimize future interruptions. (CUC)
