9 teams sign up for B Division of MDX caging

Nine teams have signed up for the B division of the MDX Amateur Radio Club’s 2014 Inter-Color Basketball League.
MDX president Pete Reyes said the nine teams that have made their intentions of joining the competition are Docomo Pacific, Adobo, Saipan Ice, I Love Saipan, China Town, Armatech, San Antonio, Pacman, and IT&E.
The start of the 40-and-over division, meanwhile, has been put off until the end of February or early March to give teams more time to solicit sponsorships.
Under the original plan, the B division of the MDX caging will be played at the outdoor Gualo Rai Basketball Court, while the masters caging will utilize the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium at the Oleai Sports Complex.
In related news, Reyes is calling on representatives of the nine teams in the B division to attend a meeting set for Thursday, Feb. 6, 7pm at the Gualo Rai Basketball Court.
