The Northern Mariana Islands Volleyball Association, the Commonwealth’s national federation for volleyball and beach volleyball, is facilitating the possibility of helping recreate indoor volleyball national teams.

These teams would endeavor initially to attend the 2014 Micronesian Games to be held in Pohnpei from July 19 to 29, 2014. NMIVA is looking for coaches and players who are interested in participating.

There will be a general meeting to discuss this possibility at the pavilion behind the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium today, Jan. 29, 6pm. All interested players, coaches, and parents should attend this meeting. Coaches interested in participating as national teams coaches should email their resume to Laurie Peterka at president@nmivolleyball.org prior to the meeting.

The last time the CNMI national indoor volleyball team played in the Micronesian Games was in 2006 on Saipan. (PR)
