[B]Marpi landfill hours on Jan. 29[/B]
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, the Marpi landfill will be opened from 7:30am to 11:30pm. It will be closed from 12pm to 3pm due to the disposal of unexploded explosive ordnance to be conducted by the Department of Public Safety. For your safety, stay away from the landfill and its surrounding areas. [B][I](PR)[/I]
Quota reached for ePassport appointments[/B]
Due to the limited capacity of its data capturing machine, the Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam, is limited to serving only 360 applicants for the appointment system for ePassport application for Saipan on Feb. 11-13, 2014. As of yesterday, there are already 360 applicants. Thus the consulate will not be able to accept additional applications. Other applicants are encouraged to avail of the next consular mobile service on Saipan.

MHS to host special PTSA meeting[/B]
All Marianas High School parents and teachers are invited to a special meeting of the Marianas High School Parent Teacher Association this Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 6:30pm at the Pacific Islands Club Pavilion. Marpi closed off on Wednesday[/B]
The Department of Public Safety will be blocking off the northern part of Saipan, from Marpi north, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, from about 12pm to 3pm, to dispose of a significant collection of unexploded ordnance that has been collected by the department’s Explosive Response Team.
All visitors to these popular areas of the island are being urged to make arrangements to visit either in the morning before the 12pm deadline or after the operation has completed at 3pm.
