[B]WSR Elementary School PTSA meeting[/B]

The William S. Reyes Elementary School’s PTSA board would like to remind the community that its upcoming monthly PTSA meeting is scheduled on Jan. 14, 2014, at the WSR cafeteria at 6pm. Discussions will include implementing the T-shirt/uniform policy as well as the Family Fun Night activities slated for February. We highly encourage parents and guardians to attend this very important meeting. See you there! [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B]CCA general membership meeting[/B]

The Commonwealth Cancer Association is inviting the community, cancer survivors, friends, and supporters to the annual general membership meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at 5:30pm at the CCA conference room.

The agenda will include the president’s 2013 annual report. Immediately after the annual report, election of the board of directors will commence. Nominations for board members will be accepted in advance via e-mail and/or on the floor.

The American Red Cross is scheduled to conduct Preparedness Health & Safety training on the following dates:

– Thurs., Jan. 16 at 4:30pm: Adult CPR/AED Blended Learning

– Thurs., Jan. 16 at 6pm: Adult CPR/AED

Classes are held at the chapter training room on Airport Road. Blended Learning courses involve online courses with in-person skills exam and require at least 48-hour preregistration.
