Holiday Travel, one of the top 10 information and education television program in China’s Shandong province, filmed on Saipan this holiday season. The show’s two hosts arrived on Saipan on Dec. 23, along with 12 show guests.

“Holiday Travel is unique in that the hosts invite travel lovers and members of the audience to travel with them to various destinations,” said Marianas Visitors Authority marketing director Bruce Bateman. “There was a lot of interaction between guests and hosts while exploring Saipan.”

While on Saipan, the production team and guests took an island tour of popular sites including Banzai Cliff, Suicide Cliff, Bird Island Lookout, Mt. Tapaochau, and various beaches.

The group also enjoyed marine sports and lunch at iconic Managaha, a dinner show at Mariana Resort & Spa, dinner barbecue at Kanoa Resort, an ATV off-road adventure, and shopping at DFS Galleria and I Love Saipan. Plans for their final day included lunch at Tony Roma’s, a submarine tour, and a sunset dinner cruse. The group lodged at Hyatt Regency Saipan.

Holiday Travel airs on Life Channel and Variety Channel of Shandong TV Station to 80 million viewers. The show will also air in California.
