Fee waivers for Jan. 7 NMC info session participants

Individuals who participate in the Northern Marianas College’s free information session will qualify to receive fee waivers for the NMC admission application and placement tests for the upcoming spring 2014 semester—a savings of up to $75.
The info session will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, in Room D-1 at the As Terlaje campus from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
Those interested in furthering their education and advancing their professional careers are encouraged to attend this event to meet and speak with faculty and staff from the college’s different degree and certificate programs.
Admissions, financial aid, and other NMC staff will also be on hand to answer questions and to assist in the admissions and financial aid process.
The college will also be accepting admissions application for the spring 2014 semester at the info session. The deadline for submitting applications was originally on Dec. 20, 2013, but the college is making an exception for those who attend and submit their application at the info session.
NMC offers several degree programs, including bachelor degrees in education, associate degrees in business, business administration, liberal arts, nursing, natural resources management, criminal justice, and hospitality management. It offers short-term certificate programs in different vocational, academic, and professional areas.
