The Department of Public Works and its Adopt-a-Highway Program would like to give its appreciation to Marpac, Seventh Day Adventist, and Commonwealth Utilities Corp. for their support and active participation in the program.

Marpac was out cleaning the intersection of the traffic light at Quarter Master Road last weekend, cleaning the areas around the railings and drainage system.

SDA is responsible for cleaning the stretch of the road shoulders of Quarter Master Road.

CUC does their cleanup once a month, picking up trash from the WWII tank on Beach Road going north to the 13 Fishermen’s pavilion.

Priority Care is scheduled to be out this Sunday to clean their adopted site, which is from the intersection of Chalan Monsignor Guerrero to Do it Best Hardware. DPW is asking motorist to exercise caution this Sunday between 8am to 2pm when passing by this area.

The program is scheduled to have its first quarter cleanup next month and is informing their participants to start planning for this occasion. The date will be announced later this month. For more information, contact AAH coordinator Jack Sablan at 235-9570, 235-5827. (DPW)
