Reviving its “Heart of Gold” concept, Hyatt Regency Saipan will host its benefit dinner for the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance and also mark its 33rd anniversary tonight at 6pm at the Sand Castle Theater.

“Hyatt Regency Saipan takes pride in reviving this signature dining experience to benefit an organization we strongly believe in,” said the hotel’s general manager Nick Ishikawa in an interview with the Saipan Tribune.

MINA was chosen to benefit from this fundraiser based on the votes cast by the hotel’s leadership committee. Hyatt assistant manager for marketing and communications, Luis Villagomez, said that the leadership thought MINA truly embodies the four pillars that are advanced by the Hyatt Thrive—environmental sustainability, economic development and investment, education and personal advancement, and health and wellness.

“This is the beginning of a new partnership that focuses on our mission to protect the environment,” said MINA board member, fundraising chair, and co-founder Fran Castro.”

“We are extremely grateful that Hyatt has selected the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance as the beneficiary for the 33rd Anniversary Celebration,” said MINA chair Frankie Eliptico.

The Sand Castle theatre will be draped in elegant hues of gold and black, accompanied by a seven-course menu provide by the culinary master chefs at the Hyatt spearheaded by executive chef Gabriele Colombo.

The night will commence with a free public Christmas tree lighting that will illuminate the entire hotel led by the Make-A-Wish Foundation kids.

The seven-course dinner will also feature an auction, raffle drawing, and other activities that will all raise funds benefiting MINA.

The Saipan Pacific Winds band, at the helm of band instructor William DeWitt, will be providing the nights entertainment along with magic acts courtesy of Sand Castle.

The benefit dinner costs $100 and $80 for club at the Hyatt members. The community is invited to the Christmas tree and hotel lighting at the hotel lobby starting at 6pm.
