Business elite tickets at stake in TOC
Two business elite tickets from Delta Air Lines are at stake in the 19th Tournament of Champions that will be held on Aug. 2 and 3 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.
The two airlines tickets that can be used anywhere in the U.S. are hole-in-one prizes. More hole-in-one prizes will be announced as the tournament nears.
The “chip for cash” side event will also be held before golfers tee off on both days of the competition. TOC will be handing out cash prizes for hole-in-one shots on 19 holes. There will be nine holes worth $50 each, $100 for six holes, $500 for three, and $1,000 for one. Golfers must buy a $1 ticket to participate in the “chip for cash” contest.
Registration is on-going and interested individuals can choose from seven flights: Championship, A, B,C, Senior, Super Senior, and Ladies (low gross and low net) flights. The Top 3 finishers in each flight (except Ladies low net) will receive cash prizes with $500 given to the champions, $400 to the runner-ups, and $300 to the third finishers. The fourth and fifth finishers will bring home digital cameras and gift certificates, respectively.
Entrance fee is $185 for both days. For more information, contact Arthur Miron at 236-2533. (PR)
