Burglary at Family Outlet store in Gualo Rai

On April 4, 2021, at about 1:05pm, the CNMI Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting a burglary and theft incident at the Family Outlet store in Gualo Rai. Police were dispatched to the scene.

At the scene, police met with the owner of the store who told police that several items were missing from the store, and they had surveillance footage of an unknown male individual inside the store. Based on surveillance footage the male individual was described as having a skinny build, was wearing a pair of long pants and a colored jacket with a skull print on the front, had on a mask and a hat, and had a sling strap backpack. The incident took place at about 3:45am that morning.

According to the owner of the store, one of the employees opened the store at about 8:10am as they were about to do some renovations when they noticed that some items were missing. They immediately called their boss who called for police assistance.

After a quick inventory of the store, items reported missing include; one (1) orange-colored chainsaw, one green-colored, cordless 12v impact wrench, one blue-colored, heavy-duty cordless 12v impact wrench, one 53-piece miscellaneous toolset with a green case, one miscellaneous toolset with a black and red case, one green-and-black-colored cordless reciprocating saw, one orange-colored cordless blower, one orange-colored 52 cc Gezhi brand brush-cutter and one roll of extension cord with a metal barrel that has about four electrical outlets.
