Burglary and theft in Garapan

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred at a residence in Garapan behind Mascot Auto Parts, Garapan.

On Saturday, May 19, 2012, at about 6:30am, the victim, a Japanese female, age 35, awoke in her residence to discover her purse missing. She checked her house and realized her bag was stolen sometime overnight while she and her family were sleeping. The suspect(s) broke into her house and stole her bag. The point of entry was through a back door with an iron gate chained and secured with a padlock that was broken by the intruder(s).

The items stolen include an orange Coleman bag, five passports (two Japanese, two U.S. and one Bangladeshi passports), one orange Canon digital camera, one i-Connect cell phone, credit cards and a black/gray wallet containing $500 cash.
