Early this morning, Gov. Ralph DLG Torres received a letter from the U.S. Department of Labor approving the CNMI Occupational Wage Survey submitted a few weeks ago. This survey covers 84 different occupations and is effective immediately.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to U.S. Labor Secretary Alex Acosta and Acting Deputy Administrator for the Office of Foreign Labor Certification, Brian Pasternak for their expedited review and approval of the CNMI Occupational Wage Survey. Additionally, the hard work put forward by the CNMI business community in completing this first survey was justly rewarded.” Torres stated.

More information will be forthcoming throughout the day, but businesses are encouraged to visit www.foreignlaborcert.doleta.gov/cw-1.cfm in the meantime. (PR)
