BREAKING NEWS: Typhoon Condition 2 in NMI

The Office of the Governor, in conjunction with Homeland Security and Emergency Management Office, has just upgraded the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands from Typhoon Condition 3 to Typhoon Condition 2.

Typhoon Condition 2 means destructive winds of 74 miles per hour or more possible within the next 24 hours.

As of 1:45pm today, Tropical Storm Mangkhut has been renamed Typhoon Mangkhut.
