BREAKING NEWS: CNMI men’s tennis team in gold medal game

The CNMI Men’s National Team defeated Tahiti in the semifinals of the team tennis event in the XVI Pacific Games, Friday morning in Samoa.

Colin Sinclair swept Heimanarii Lai San in the first singles match, 6-2, 6-0, while Robbie Schorr topped Ridge Chung, 6-1, 6-3, to give the CNMI the early victory, which also moved the team to the gold medal game. The Commonwealth bets will play either Samoa or Papua New Guinea in the finals later this afternoon.
