BREAKING NEWS: Man dies believed due to drowning at Sugar Dock

A 50-year-old man who was spearfishing died believed to be due to drowning at the Sugar Dock this afternoon, Friday, a source said.

A Department of Public Safety official confirmed with Saipan Tribune that the fisherman, described as a local, died.

The source said the victim was found dead outside the channel.
