BREAKING NEWS: Guam lt. gov. tests positive

Both top officials of Guam have now been confirmed to be positive for the virus that causes COVID-19, with Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio affirming that his test result last night, Aug. 12, 2020, has come up positive.

Tenorio assured in a statement that he remains in good health despite exhibiting moderate symptoms of the virus. “I will continue my isolation pending clearance from my health care provider,” he said.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Guam Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero tested positive for COVID-19 after coming in close contact with an immediate family member who had also tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19.
