Extremely dangerous situation for Saipan, Tinian

The eyewall of Super Typhoon Yutu will hit Tinian and Saipan imminently.

 

According to the U.S. Natioanl Weather Service in Guam, the Saipan airport has reported sustained winds of 67 miles per hour, with gusts up to 91 mph, but as the eyewall approaches in the next couple of hours, winds will greatly increase to between 100 and 140 mph with gusts pushing 180 mph.

 

This will be a devastating and catastrophic storm for both Tinian & Saipan.
