BREAKING NEWS: Cinta Kaipat resigns from MVA board

Share

Cinta M. Kaipat has resigned as a member of the Marianas Visitors Authority board of directors.

MVA chair Marian Aldan-Pierce confirmed today, Thursday, that Kaipat sent her resignation letter shortly after the MVA board meeting last Tuesday.

Aldan-Pierce said she was surprised and reached out to Kaipat to find out more and that Kaipat replied that it was a personal matter that she did not wish to elaborate on.

Kaipat attended the board meeting last Tuesday—the day when MVA managing director Christopher Attao Concepcion announced his resignation.

Kaipat, a former lawmaker, joined the MVA board last July after Gov. Ralph DLG. Torres appointed her to represent Saipan.

More details to follow.
